So as you all know I have a pit bull and she is very picky about what she eats, unless she is digging in the trash of course. So when I was contacted by Mr.Chewy to do a pet food review I thought hey why not, everyone else in the house has done a review why not the dog.
So I examined their site and choose the best products, since I wasn’t paying for it, I choose the most expensive dog food that I wanted to try with her and some yummy treats.
So this is my haul.
I got the Blue Buffalo 16lb bag of dry dog food in chicken and brown rice flavor.
I got the 2-3inch Merrick Gi Bone dog chew.
I got the Merrick LT hambone for her.
I ordered Zukes Peanut butter mini naturals dog treats.
I order Bil Jac of course, dogs love Bil Jac. I got her the yapple-nanas treats.
And lastly the Natures Balance healthy bones treat with turkey, oatmeal, and cranberry flavor.them in the
She has tried the majority of these treats and she has been eating the dog food since it came in and I have to say she is enjoying it.
She eats her food right away which isn’t her normal MO. Normally she drags it out all day but now she comes hungrily to the bowl and waits for us to feed her, which tells me she likes it. She is doing her tricks again for the treats I have feed her. She is a very lazy dog; she wants to get her treats without doing much work for them. So I trained her at a young age to sit, stand, and lay. So now when I pull out one of the Natures Balance treats she immediately sits down and waits. She love the Bil Jac treats but that I knew would happen because she has always loved Bil Jac. She is in love with the natures balance ones. The bones on the other hand did not interest her much. She normally loves bones but for some reason they are still sitting in my floor waiting to get chomped to bits. Her normal behavior would have her chewing the crap out of them until they were gone in like 10 minutes from the time we gave them to her but not these she hasn’t shown interest much at all.
All in all I have to say that she has pretty much enjoyed the dog treats that they sent and loves the dog food. We struggle with her dog food options because she is so picky. But I think we have found a good health dog food for her to eat. I can honestly say I will be getting her more of the dog food soon. Since she loves it so much.
